1. Introduction of ship type

In our international transportation of goods, in addition to the well-known container ships, there are other types of ships suitable for all kinds of goods

It can be roughly divided into bulk carriers, general cargo ships, RO ro ships, oil tankers, deck barges and multi-purpose ships

Bulk carrier

This type of ship is relatively large and consists of multiple hatches. Generally, there is no crane to load and unload goods by the wharf conveyor belt. It is mainly used for transporting chemical fertilizer, ore and grain. There are 80000-300000 tons, and the water intake is more than 12 meters. There are corresponding requirements for port conditions. Shipowner resources are also relatively small.

A general cargo ship

Most of them have ship cranes. Generally, they have three or four hatches. The normal hatch is 30 * 28 meters, but the cargo inside is generally smaller than this size, because the bilge is inclined. It mainly transports steel, ton bag and equipment, puts steel or ton bag at the bottom, then covers steel plate and continues to put equipment. Then it is divided into several decks, and the cargo is put in the middle of the deck. The cargo in the hold is generally not more than 4 meters high. After the top deck is covered, the deck cargo can be put, and there is no height limit.

General ship crane is about 30 tons, some can be lifted by two cranes, two 30 ton cranes can lift about 48 tons of goods. In addition, more than 60 tons is called heavy lift ship, and more than 700 tons can be lifted. If the ship crane is not large enough, the shore crane can be used, or the floating crane can be used.

There is also the command ship, which is relatively long. It's seven or eight meters long. Long piles and wind turbines can be placed.
